Theoretical Tasks on Algorithms; Two Small Examples

Abstract
In the Dutch Olympiad in Informatics theoretical subtasks are used to tests some of the skills needed for algorithmic design. The results were somewhat discouraging. An analysis for future use of theoretical tasks is performed.
